Private and group lessons

When you take a private lesson, you get the benefit of your teacher's undivided attention so you can drill into exactly what you need to play your ukulele or harmonica the way you want to play. That's exactly what we'll do: We'll talk about what you want to work on and we explore the best way for you to achieve it. 

 

I offer group and private lessons for adults and kids who want to learn to play the ukulele and harmonica, covering a variety of aspects of playing that include technique, very basic music theory, how to play well with others, tips for memorizing tunes, and whatever other gnarly things you want to conquer.

Fees

• Via Zoom: $30 for up to a half hour; $40 for up to an hour. Longer times available as well.

• In-person lessons within 20 minutes of Hinesburg, VT, $45/half-hour; $50/hour to cover lesson and travel time. For locations farther afield, let's talk!

• Want an online lesson for you and your team, friends, staff, or co-workers? For additional participants, add $20 per person.

• For harmonica lessons, we use Harmonicas in the key of C for classes.
